Victim takes stand

The female who was allegedly shot by Bronx Femcee Remy Ma has taken the stand in the case that could see Remy Ma facing 25 years in prison if convicted. Makeda Barnes Joseph described being shot by the rapper after the two got into an argument about money that was missing from the purse of the rapper.The lawyers for the rapper headed up by Ivan Fisher are claiming that the gun went off accidentally when the two females were fighting over the purse of Joseph which Remy Ma claimed to contain the missing money. The trial taking place in Manhattan NYC continues.

Jay Z Take over

As he headlines Glastonbury this year. famed super mogul Jay Z is headlining the Pemberton Festival in British Columbia, Canada in July this year. The addition of Jay Z to the normally rock heavy line up has caused criticism from certain fans of the festival. But the organizer of the event Michael Eavis hopes that such an addition will encourage a wider audience to the festival.Jay Z will appear along side Nine Inch Nails and Cold Play at this years event.

May 13th for the Carter III

Lil Wayne fans across the globe will be pleased to know that their favorite Hot Boy will be dropping his Carter III project on May 13th, Cash Money/Universal Records announced last week.

The album which has been put back time and time again, even though no actual date was ever determined by the label will see Weezy work with some of the industry's biggest names.

Production will be handled by Kanye West, Alchemist, Cool and Dre and Swizz Beats and Jay Z will be joining Lil Wayne on the album as well as Busta Rhymes, Ludacris and Juelz Santana.

Manager arrested for Sexual Assault

The manager of Detroit group D12 has been arrested and is currently being held on $1.1 million bail for allegedly assaulting two sixteen year old girls on numerous occasions during 2006-2007.

Jeremy Geffen who also manages Sean Paul of the Young Bloodz was arrested in LA on Monday and will be arraigned on felony charges today.

His legal representation told a California newspaper in a statement that his client is innocent.
