Nas cancels Show in San Diego
Rapper Nasir Jones who is currently on tour promoting his Hip-Hop is Dead album opted not to perform in the House of Blues in San Diego, Southern California on Wednesday night. The artist famed for songs such as If I ruled the World, One Mic and Made You Look had arrived at the club with his R&B singer wife, Kelis and his staff when he was told to wait outside and was then as he stated 'treated like a terrorist.'

Nas's disgust at the way in which he and his team were treated by The House of Blues Staff encouraged the rapper, who has enjoyed playing at the venue before, to cancel the show.

"We deal with racists in a way that they are supposed to get dealt with. We dealt with it in a manner of respect when they should have been disrespected. We just left it alone, you know?" Nas said. "It was just a real nasty, racist situation."

The San Diego House of Blues have yet to comment on the situation. Nas will however be playing four dates in the UK later this month.
