In Wednesday's Daily Rap Lupe Fiasco is considering quitting music, Wu Tang to sample Beatles track, Sean Garrett has made a deal with Interscope and Kelly Rowland is to re-release album.

Lupe Fiasco talks quittingChicago MC, Lupe Fiasco who erupted onto the Hip-Hop scene last year with his debut critically acclaimed album Food and Liquor has stated that he doesn't think he has many more studio albums left in him. His sophomore project on Atlantic The Cool which was to come out at the end of October is now set for a November 20th release date. The rappers first album was leaked to the Internet three times before it hit the shelves and sales dwindled because of this.Lupe who is famed for his mixtapes and Internet tapes has also divulged that he will not be putting out any further mixtapes. He is however working alongside Kanye West and Pharrell Williams with the trios Child Rebel Soldier (CRS) collective. CRS hope to put out an album but until the paperwork is ironed out by the relevant labels recording will not commence.Wu Tang meets the Beatles

As the Hip-Hop world awaits the highly anticipated 8 Diagrams album from Wu Tang, it has been announced by the groups founder RZA that the nine man collective will be sampling a track from the English Fab Four, The Beatles. The sample will come from While My Guitar Gently Weeps in a track called Gently Weeps.

The song titled Gently Weeps is about drug addiction and features both Method Man and Ghostface Killah as the pusher and the abuser of heroin. Playing acoustic guitar on the track will be Dhani Harrison, son of the late George Harrison who is said to be a huge Wu Tang Clan fan.

Song writer Sean Garrett inks deal with Interscope

Song writer Sean 'The Pen' Garrett has secured his company a deal with Interscope records. The famed song writer, responsible for penning songs for Beyonce, Usher, Mary J Blige, Ciara will be the first artist to come out on the Bet I Penned It Music imprint.

"Joining Interscope will grant me the opportunity to share the side of Sean Garrett that the world has yet to see. Besides being known as Sean Garrett the songwriter, the producer, I will soon be able to add 'The Artist.,'" he said in a statement. His album is expected to be available later this year.

Kelly Rowland to re-release album

One third of Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland is said to be re-releasing her album Miss Kelly after the album failed to do the numbers she had hoped.

Rowland who is managed by Matthew Knowles, father of Beyonce and Solange Knowles is reported to be recording new tracks to encourage new sales for her sophomore project.

The album which features production by Rich Harrison, Rodney Jerkins and Big Tank and features, Eve, Remy Ma and Robin Thicke sold nearly 84,000 copies in its first week but sales dipped after its first week.

The award winning singer collapsed on stage recently whilst promoting her album in Lagos, Nigeria suffering from dehydration.
