Charles Haddon has been laid to rest in his native Northamptonshire, England, two weeks after he committed suicide at a Belgium music festival.

The frontman of acclaimed British band Ou Est Le Swimming Pool reportedly killed himself at the Pukkelpop event on 20 August by climbing to the top of a satellite mast in a backstage parking area and jumping off.

The tragedy occurred just hours after the group performed in front of thousands of fans. Haddon's family and friends paid tribute to the 22 year old at his funeral at All Saints Church in Yelvertoft on Saturday - the same day the trio was scheduled to play at the Frequency Festival in Austria.

The remaining members of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan, have decided to press ahead with plans to release their debut album despite the tragedy. The Golden Year will hit music retailers in October.

Belgian police are treating Haddon's death as suicide, according to district attorney Marc Rubens.
