Life wasn’t so glamorous for Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas last night. The hitmakers were performing at an outdoor concert for the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego when, I’m told, four police officers pulled the plug at about 11:30 p.m.A rep for the hotel told me the Peas were about 90 minutes into their show in the hotel’s alfresco event space when the cops arrived. Apparently, locals as far as two miles away were complaining about the loud music.Fergie informed the crowd of about 1,200 that the concert would have to come to an end a bit earlier than they had hoped. However, the Peas played one more song. "Fergie said they would close the show with ‘Where Is the Love?’ " the rep said. "She said it was for our friends..the police..in the lobby."Nevertheless, the Peas did get to officially open a suite they designed for the hotel. Proceeds from the use of the room are being donated to the group’s charitable arm, the Peapod Foundation.A rep for the San Diego Police Department confirmed to me that cops shut them down. "They had agreed to play only until 11:15," the spokesperson said.
