Former GUNS N' ROSES star DUFF McKAGAN has said that Prince is his biggest influence and would love to do a collaboration with him.
The rocker has been a fan of the Purple Rain singer for many years and cites him as his "biggest musical influence".
McKagan reveals he once met his idol, but he was star struck and too "tongue-tied" to talk to him - let alone ask about work opportunities.
He tells TheSunsetStrip.com, "I'd love to play with Prince... Prince is the guy, probably the biggest musical influence all around for me, and I got to meet him one time, but I was so f**king tongue tied that I didn't know what to say... But to be able to play on a song or something like that; that would be pretty bad a**, just on a personal level."
