We always find it a little bit strange when celebrities seem to forget that someone tried to kill / mug / attack them and decide to become their new BFF! So when Jamie Foxx sent his best wishes to the crazed fan who attacked him in his hotel room in March, we were more than a little baffled.
It seems that Stephen Taliver twice tried to gain access to the Oscar winner's Philadelphia, Pennsylvania hotel suite and when Foxx opened the door to him, he had to fight to keep him out.
Taliver fled the scene of the incident but was arrested nine days later and charged with burglary, criminal threats, stalking, false imprisonment and harassment, but according to Foxx, his attacker is now in a psychiatric hospital - and, now the incident is well behind him, he hopes nothing but the best for Taliver, 49.
He says, "He's now on a 60-day hold in a psych unit... God bless him, I hope everything works out for him." It’s nice that Foxx can be so cool about it, personally, I don’t think I’d be so calm!
