Johnny Van Zant, Lynyrd Skynyrd frontman has pulled out of concerts after being hospitalised last weekend.

The singer was admitted to hospital on Saturday to seek treatment for complications from a previous operation.

Doctors diagnosed him with a Staphylococcal infection and have told him to rest away from the stage until he is recovered.
