Pamela Anderson

Morrissey appears with Pamela Anderson in the music video for spoken word track 'Earth is the Loneliest Planet'.

The singer, who will release his new album 'World Peace Is None Of Your Business' on July 14, has unveiled the video for his latest single from the LP exclusively on NME.com.

The companion film, directed by Natalie Johns, features lyric narration while Morrissey and Pamela admire the Hollywood sunset standing on the roof of the Capitol Tower in Los Angeles.

It is thought the singer, 55, and blonde bombshell, 46, bonded over their passion for animal rights and Pamela launched her charity, which aims to support organisations working "on the frontlines of human rights, animal rights and environmental protection" in Cannes last month.

The pair are believed to have become friends in 2002 after attending a vegetarian Thanksgiving, with fellow guests including Kid Rock, John Salley and a live turkey.

In the film, Morrissey says: "Earth is the loneliest planet of all, earth is the loneliest planet of all / Day after day you say one day, day after day you say one day / But you're in the wrong place and you've got the wrong face / And humans are not really very humane."

'Earth Is The Loneliest Planet' will be released on Tuesday (03.06.14) via Harvest Records, following the album's title track and 'Istanbul'.

The tracklisting for 'World Peace Is None Of Your Business' includes:
