His rendition of 'Hallelujah' mesmerised the coaches listening, and it's clear the rising star did his mentor and team leader - Christina Aguilera - proud.
The next contender in the show to appear in the charts is Jacquie Lee - at number 24 with 'Love Is Blindness'.
