Jessie J will perform during a British couple's wedding.
Sam Slater and Chris Taylor, both 26, are delighted their reception venue has been double booked with a show by the Wild' singer tomorrow (20.07.13).
The couple will hold their reception as planned at Durham County Cricket Club, on the same night Jessie will play a headline slot at the cricket ground as part of the venue's 'Durham Summer Nights' programme.
15,000 people are expected at the show, but the wedding party will have the best seats in the house, watching from a balcony at the club, overlooking the stage.
Sam told the Durham Chronicle: "When they got us in they said another department had booked the concert and it's the same day as the wedding. We weren't very happy about it at first, but when we found out it was Jessie J we perked up a bit. In fact, we were ecstatic."
Jessie claims she will try and make time to say hello to the pair and may even perform for their first dance.
She said: "I can't wait to be part of Sam and Chris's big day, it's going to be a really special gig and I am very excited about performing. Bring on the first dance!"
The blushing bride has even shifted the first dance to 10pm - when the concert finishes - in hopes the singer will live up to her promise.
Sam said: "We'd like our first dance to be the acoustic version of Jessie's single 'Wild'. They asked us which song of hers we would choose, so here's hoping they have something up their sleeves."
Following 18-months of wedding planning, Sam's partner Chris expressed his excitement after keeping it a secret from guests until the official concert headliner was unveiled by the venue.
He said: "I had to be very sly about it... we weren't allowed to tell anybody at first because the tickets hadn't gone on sale."
"It's really added something to make our day extra special, all our guests are so excited."
