A moonlit ebb and flow of star guitar and dazzling vocals Brakes is the new single from Royworld, released on 18th August on Virgin Records.

Royworld songs are coming of age films in miniature; explosive roller-coaster dramas inside three and a half minutes. Debut release Elasticity came wound up tight in Sparks-esque absurdity; Man In The Machine beamed down from the Buggles space station to a receiver on Daft Punks pyramid; and Dust burst forth in epic FM Stereo; a trio of singles that have stuck firmly to radio play lists since the beginning of the year.

Royworld pull down on the levers of instant power pop, and yet exist in an unfathomable melting pot of melodic riches. With vocals cast forward and rhythms assured and expectant, they build insanely catchy moments around an underlying tension that cuts through each of their mini-symphonies.

Having supported the likes of We Are Scientists, Sparks and Guillemots, Royworld kick off the summer with a run of festival dates including appearances at Glastonbury, T In the Park, Wireless, V Festival and Bestival ahead of a headline UK tour in September.
