Luke Ritchie’s new album The Water’s Edge is now just around the corner but before the release we have been treated to his new single Cover It Up.
Cover It Up is not your run of the mill folk track and yet neither is it your typical singer/songwriter track either - it falls somewhere in between and boy is it good.
It is a guitar driven track but there is a real deepness to the sound of the guitars that is really does get under your skin.
He has mixed folk, pop and a bit of rock on this track and it has given it such a rich sound and the emotion pours out of Richie’s vocal.
It’s one of those songs that you will be tapping you feet along with in no time.
Cover It Up shows off Ritchie’s vocal as well as his great song-writing skills and after hearing I am super excited about the forthcoming album.
