Tom Odell
New kid on the block Tom Odell stuns us with his single Another Love.
The track displays Odell’s raw vocal talent as well as his distinctive piano beats. Despite some poor album reviews, Odell has impressed the British public with his search for a lost love. Odell has freshened the music charts with his emotional singing, with Another Love peaking at number 10.
Another Love has one of the catchiest choruses in the charts at the moment and it is very refreshing to see a young talent playing a difficult musical instrument to a competent standard.
The one drawback with this piece is the rather strange music video. Odell is apparently searching for a lost girl by distributing posters around. Yet when he is confronted with her, he appears not to recognise her and tries to run away. It seems at odds with the emotive piece and is a little disappointing from the singer.
Despite that, the beauty of this single is not lost. Another Love is a stand out track and deserves more success than it has currently received.
