Rihanna has always been a trendsetter and whilst pregnant she had a pretty epic maternity style, including proudly baring her baby bump, with many mums-to-be now following in her footsteps. Inspired by this, founder of Style Necessity, Mosope Ogunjobi, has five pieces of advice for if you want to sport a bare bump. She said; "Every bump is beautiful, as it's creating new life. I loved Rihanna's pregnancy style and how she and other celebs have inspired other mums-to-be to creates their own looks, whilst baring their baby bumps too... Let's face it, summer is the perfect time to try out this style, as it's not only on trend, but also rather practical to stay cool."

5 Tips from Mosope on how you can too try out the bare baby bump fashion trend:

1. Ribbed Combo - A ribbed crop top and split hem skirt is the perfect combo for anyone this summer... navy and beige are so on trend right now and this outfit works perfectly to accommodate growing baby bumps.

2. Cotton Shirt - You can't go wrong with a crisp cropped cotton shirt or you could wear a full length shirt and tie it in a bow above your baby bump - cotton is great to help you stay cool, and you could combine this look with a cotton maxi skirt or if it's a cooler day/evening, pair with jeans or trousers and a great colourful blazer - bright greens, pinks and blues are the go-to colours this summer.

3. Cut-outs - Cut-out detail dresses and tops are another on trend way to flash the flesh and show that beautiful bump. Nicola Adams‘ pregnant girlfriend Ella Baig beautifully showed off her growing baby bump in a cut-out mini dress when she attended the Lightyear premiere in London this month.

4. Sheer Fabrics - If going totally bare worries you, you could maybe think about sheer fabrics, a sheer slip over a crop top looks fabulous or a fish net dress over a cropped top and leggings.

5. Jackets - You could try pairing jeans, leggings or shorts with a silk kimono jacket or finely knitted poncho jacket and tie and fix it to expose as much of your bump as you feel comfortable with... with this approach, you could start small and work up to a full exposed baby bump.
