Playnests are essentially a giant doughnut for your baby to sit in the middle of and it has been one of the best gifts we’ve received for our little girl, here’s why:

It helps encourage them to sit up on their own: Even if your baby is a bit wobbly, this is a great tool for helping to develop their confidence in sitting up unaided.

It’s light: Because playnests are filled with air, they are light enough to lift and move around the house as you need it, so it can be used in every room of your home with little effort.

It’s easy to transport: If you are going anywhere and want to take your playnest with you- you can simply deflate it so it doesn’t take up much room and then inflate it once you get to your destination.

It’s safe: If your baby does slide off to one side, they are unlikely to hurt themselves because it is cushioned all the way around and just bounce back.

The sides have different textures, patterns and sounds: Our playnest has a crinkly fabric door to the ‘barn’ a squeaky beak on the duck to keep our baby entertained while she is sitting in it. Most have variations of this, so your baby doesn’t get bored.

Your baby can play with their other toys too: You can pop some of their favourite toys around the ring so they can reach for what they want if they would rather play with something else.

The cover is machine washable: If your baby happens to dirty the playnest, you can remove the cover and wash it. A bonus for mums!
