“I think if I had played the game and had stood back for a few weeks maybe I would have stayed on longer but that isn’t me,” she admitted. “I’m somebody who always says what I think and I push myself forward when somebody needs to take responsibility and if that’s what got me fired then I definitely wasn’t the right business partner for Lord Sugar.”

Jane describes herself as passionate, dedicated and driven, traits of a strong business-minded woman. But who inspires her work ethic? “My grandmother is my role model because she has done some really amazing things in her life,” Jane said. “She’s beaten cancer twice, had twelve children and sat on a number of national and European committees.

“She is a great cook and can make a meal out of nothing; she still travels often, keeps extremely active and always looks extremely glamorous,” Jane added.

It seems that even little Harry is not immune to the business bug, catching his mum’s infection business-ready outlook from now. “Harry has spent a lot of time in the factory, he actually calls the food range ‘mylittleworld.com’ and he tells people that it’s his baby soups,” Jane said.

“He loves his food, but thanks to his grandparents he also loves his treats, everything in moderation is ok. Hopefully Harry’s Little World will be really successful and it can be something that he will be proud of when he’s older,” she concluded.

Judging by how far she’s come, it’s safe to say that getting fired by Lord Sugar has led Jane to achieve great things, first and foremost as a mum and of course as a business woman too. Looking at her growing success all we have to say is… Who needs The Apprentice?
