How To: Spot a Bad Boy

For an unfathomable reason, women always seem to go for the bad boy, even when they know they’ll risk getting their feelings crushed.

Incredibly, we don’t seem to learn until it is too late! Here are some tips on how to spot a bad boy and keep your heart in one piece.

Body Language

Body language speaks volumes so keep an eye on the way he moves and acts around others.

If he’s talking to you and his eyes are wandering all over the room then you’re better off steering clear.

Male bravado is also a sign to look out for, if he’s puffing out his chest and speaking loudly and proudly of his achievements then ditch him quickly.

Playing by His Rules

Bad boys like to make the rules; they’ll pick the times, the places and have complete control over the situation.

If he always makes the decisions about when or where to see you then try changing it up. Tell him you can’t do that day and suggest a different one, if he declines multiple times then you know he is no good.

Commitment

We’re not saying that you have to put a ring on a man’s finger within a month of knowing him but there should be some sort of commitment after four weeks of dating if all has gone well.

If he’s all about being ‘friends with benefits’ and won’t take what you have to the next level then it’s more than likely he’s seeing other people.

Unreliability

If he’s constantly changing plans or not showing when you choose to meet then he isn’t worth your time.

If he doesn’t care enough to make the effort to come at see you regularly then don’t waste your time on him, move on and find someone worthy of you!

Remember…

As much as we all think we can change a bad boy, you can’t. He loves the thrill and he loves a challenge so if you’re looking for something serious then leave him alone and go searching elsewhere!
