What is it?

Every woman wishes for more intense, mind blowing orgasms but more often than not, that just doesn’t happen. The key lies in your pelvic floor and the My Pff app from lights by Tena helps you to strengthen it in order to enjoy a better sex life.

The app starts by giving you an instructional video on exactly what your pelvic floor is, what it does, how it can be weakened and finally, how you can strengthen it. The video is given by Liza Webb who is a qualified Pilates instructor and also a member of The Guild of Pregnancy and Postnatal Exercise Instructors and they’re very clear and informative!

You’re then encouraged to practise your pelvic floor exercises and the app gives you little tasks to complete. There are two tasks that come in the form of little squeezes and a big squeeze. These are both designed to help you improve your pelvic floor through exercising it each day.

Once you’ve done the initial exercises, you can then access the home page which has a number of options including FAQs and a progress tracker, plus you can also access the instructional video again.

We Love:

The entire app is a really great idea as many women have no idea what or where their pelvic floor is and why it needs regular exercise. The video is a particular favourite feature of ours as it tells you all the important info without having to scroll through a load of text – it’s all right there in front of you in video form.

The video itself is really educational and easy to understand, with Liza laying everything out clearly and explaining what this app can do for you.

Something we really liked was that it made you do the exercises before being allowed to move onto the home screen. This is a fantastic feature as it lets you know exactly what the app is about and also gives you that push that we all need when it comes to any kind of exercise!

The progress tracker is a great idea as it shows exactly how well your exercises are going and it almost becomes like a little competition with yourself to encourage you to keep doing the exercises in order to keep improving.

Another handy feature is the reminder option. You can choose for the app to remind you to do your exercises by setting a time in the app which will alert you when it’s time to do your exercises.

Downfall:

Although you’re advised to work your pelvic floor three times a day, you can only set one reminder at a time. So say you wanted to set a reminder for in the morning, in your lunch hour and before you go to sleep, you can’t. The app only allows for one at a time so you’d have to reset it after each reminder which is a bit fussy and almost defeats the point.

Another tiny niggle is that the app doesn’t specify exactly how long we should be exercising our pelvic floor for. It makes both the exercises available to you but doesn’t say how often you should be repeating the process in each session.

Verdict:

This app really is one of the best apps out there when it comes to pelvic floor health and working those kegel muscles. Not only will improve the general health of your intimate area but it’ll also make for great orgasms which is something that really can’t be snubbed at!

There are a few tiny downfalls that could be ironed out but apart from that, it’s a great app for those wanting a better sex life and really will improve your relationships as a result. Get yours for your iOS devices and Android phones now.
