Romance is the Most Important Resolution in 2013

It may not be Valentine’s Day yet but Brits are already making a love a priority.

New research from dating site Cupid.com shows that Brits are hoping to make more time for romance this year.

From those surveyed, 60 per cent said that the most important thing for them in 2013 was to find romance.

This came above other typical New Year hopes of getting fit and performing better in the work place.

Only 15 per cent of those surveyed said that getting fit was the most important thing for them in 2013, with a further 19 per cent saying it was to perform better in their job.

Sean Wood of Cupid Plc said, “Romantic happiness is ahead of everything for British singles, even the prospect of a new Royal birth, which only 1.5% of those questioned in the survey said they were looking forward to more than anything else.

“It seems we feel can cope with financial and job prospects better if our love life is more settled.”

Incredibly, the worst thing that could happen in 2013 for romantic Brits is that they have a fruitless year where romance is concerned.

Nearly half of all Brits fear this, with only 28 per cent saying they fear economic instability across Europe the most and 15 per cent fear the rise of travel prices most.
