Impress His Friends

Impress His Friends

Here at Female First realise it can be difficult to impress your partner’s friends so we’ve come up with a guide to help you become memorable, and lovable, for all the right reasons.

Have A Sense of Humour

One of the main things for a guy is that you have the ability to laugh at them and with them. A sense of humour can do anything from defusing awkward situations to establishing common ground, plus if you can take the mic out of him in a humorous way and rip into him once a while around his friends, they’ll completely appreciate it and you’ll fit right in.

Obviously don’t take it too far, he’ll appreciate being knocked down a peg with your ferocious wit, but knocking his confidence everyday with snide sarcastic remarks won’t have the same effect so don’t overstep the line.

Let Him Have His Guy Time

Don’t try and stop him from hanging out with his boys. That’s a deal breaker right there. Obviously you’ll want to spend time with him too but remember that he needs his poker night or five-a-side Sunday with the lads to keep him happy.

Never book dinner on the night of a major sporting event! Be savvy; check what’s on and when and he and his mates will thank you for it!

If you want added brownie points, hold it at yours and bring them snacks whilst keeping the beers flowing, that’s sure to place you firmly in their good books.

Introduce Your Single Friends

If he’s going on a guys night out, plan a girls night on the same night. Don’t go together but let him know you’ll be out so you might run into each other.

Invite your hot single friends and then introduce them to his mates, casually slink off and leave them all to get to know each other a little better.

His friends will love you for it and want to you come out all the time meaning you’ll get to have fun and see more of your man, winner!

Take An Interest

Chance is you won’t have a thing in common with his friends so instead of talking about things they won’t get, take an interest in what they do.

Showing a genuine interest in their hobbies and their job by asking questions will win them over as they will be able to tell that you have a genuine interest and want to integrate yourself into their lives.

It’ll also show them that you’re serious enough about their mate as you’re making a massive effort to get to know and like them.

And Lastly... Don’t Be Clingy!

Tagging along to all their events and draping yourself all over your man will only make you look clingy and like you’re keeping an eye on every aspect of his life.

Not only will your clinginess become highly annoying, but if you’re constantly having PDA in front of his mates, it’ll make them super uncomfortable around the both of you.

Stick to the above rules, keep it cool and casual and you should have no problem impressing his friends and your man.
