The release date for the new iPhone 5 is due at the end of September and it’s the most hotly anticipated gadget of 2012 so far, so it’s no surprise that men would do anything to get their hands on it!

The mobile casino, RoxyPalace.com recently polled its members and found that 9 per cent of men would happily go without sex for a month to get their hands on the phone early.
A spokesman for the company said, “On the face of it this seems a very drastic step to take and really plays up to the ‘boys and their toys’ stereotype.”
As well as sex, men were willing to give up an entire range of things to get their hands on the must have gadget.
Fourteen per cent of men said they would happily give up alcohol and 22 per cent said they would give up their caffeine fix by giving up coffee.
More than a third of men said that they would definitely make a significant sacrifice if it meant they got to skip the queues in the Apple shops to get the phone.
Despite saying they would give up sex, ironically, 53 per cent of respondents said they had used their phone to get some form of relationship advice from the internet!
Men insist that having the same phone as their partner would improve their relationship, with 63 per cent saying that having the same phone would mean they could discuss similar apps and share things more easily.
The spokesman said, “There has been a huge amount of hype surrounding the iPhone 5 and whilst the release date is a closely guarded secret, it is believed to be towards the end of September.
“This is just over a month away and it seems many of the people we spoke to would happily abstain from physical intimacy if it meant they could get their hands on the smartphone early.
“Others reported that they would happily give up coffee or alcohol for the same period which reinforces the view that many people are happy to forego things which give them pleasure in an attempt to get the ultimate gadget early.”
This news will probably come as a relief to woman as it will mean that the phones release will take men’s minds off sex for a while at least!
