We thought with all the voting going on today that we would take a look behind the scenes at the politicians and their love lives- one in particular is quite the romantic!

Nick Clegg and Miriam Gonzalez Durantez

Ed Miliband

Miliband is married to barrister Justine Thornton. They met in 2002 and lived together in North London before they got engaged in March 2010 and then married in May 2011 at Langar Hall near Nottingham. They have two sons together; Daniel born on 2009 and Samuel, born in 2010.

David Cameron

Cameron is married to Samantha Gwendoline Sheffield. Samantha accepted an invitation from his sister Claire to go on the Cameron family holiday to Tuscany, Italy and their relationship blossomed from there. They married on the 1st June 1996 at the Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Oxfordshire.

Nick Clegg

Clegg married Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, from Spain in 2000. They now have three sons together. He has a house near his constituency in the Peak District and takes walks with his wife near Standage Edge which he has described as 'one of the most romantic places in the world.' (Wikipedia)

Nicola Sturgeon

Sturgeon resides in Glasgow with her husband Pete Murrell who is the chief executive of the SNP. They have been a couple since 2003 and announced their engagement on 29th January 2010. The pair wed on the 16th July 2010 at Oran Mor in Glasgow.

Nigel Farage

Farage has been married twice. His first marriage was to nurse Grainne Hayes whom he has two children with; Samuel and Thomas. He met her after he was hit with a car following a night out and she nursed him the night of the accident. The pair divorced in 1997 and he then married Kirsten Mehr, a German national. They have two children together; Victoria and Isabelle. Mehr is Farage's parliamentary secretary to which he justified with 'nobody else could do that job.' (Wikipedia)
