Relationships on Female First

Your first dance- There's THAT song you had on your wedding day- it might have been a song you always saw as yours or it could have been something in vogue that spoke to your relationship at the time. Most of all, it's the music you listened to as your first dance as husband and wife and it always brings you goosebumps.

Your song- The one you heard playing over the speakers on your first date, the one that was in the background when you shared your first kiss in a bar or the one that was playing on the radio when you had your first road trip. It has and will forever be the sound that makes you think of each other and your early days of dating.

The car song- This is the old faithful you have on CD for when you go on long drives together. It always reminds you of the times when you had nothing but each other and a tank of gas. Back when money was for adventures and not bills and sex in the car was your preferred option.

The sex song- You may have put the radio on to drown out your sex noises when you were living in a house share or perhaps you threw a CD on while making love to see if you could last the length of the album. Whatever it was- there is always that one song that reminds you of being wrapped up in each other's naked bodies.

The joke song- This one makes you both laugh because it has one of you summed up in a nutshell. You have sung it many times when you or your partner has done something that can be perfectly expressed up by a few lines.

Your first gig together- Taking care of each other in the crowds, getting all sweaty while dancing to your favourite lyrics. Just enjoying being young and in love.

The first album you bought as a couple or for each other- It might have been a birthday present, the soundtrack to your first Christmas in your new home or CDs to compile your wedding playlist. You will forever remember the first sounds you bought together or as a gift- smug in the knowledge that you are compatible in so many ways.
