Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly planning a sibling for Prince George.

The royal couple are keen to have a big family and are already considering giving their four-month-old son George a brother of sister as soon as possible.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Kate's getting broody and they would love to have a brother and sister for George.

"They will have another baby as soon as possible and want a big family, more than the usual heir and a spare.

"Kate and William are looking in the diary already to see when would be a good time."

Prince William and Duchess Catherine - who was known as Kate Middleton before she married William in 2011 - have just moved into their multi-million pound newly-refurbished property at Kensington Palace in London with their baby and are anxious to make the apartment a proper family home.

The Duchess hand-picked special child-friendly furniture and sofa coverings to put in the house in a bid to protect the furnishings from getting destroyed when the children are around.
