Hotel deals are the way forward for Brits

We Brits tend to spend much of the year discussing the distinctly average British weather and how we cannot wait for a change of scene. But with less money in our pockets these days, our attitudes towards booking hotels both home and abroad have changed dramatically.

According to a new survey of 609 UK residents by HotelExclusives.com, around half have cut down on the number of holidays and short breaks they take ‘as a result of increased economic strain’, it seems that the rest of us are looking to shop smarter to find great deals. 

In fact, 28 per cent of those surveyed said that they subscribe to 15 or more regular mailing lists to ensure they are always in-the-know about new offers, discounts and deals.

The newly launched hotel members club, HotelExclusives.com, aims to meet this demand for great deals. As the site is members-only, they are able to offer discounts on their handpicked range of luxury hotels.

And unlike most other daily deal providers, their flash deals and year round luxury offers are all date-controlled. This means that members simply pay for the deal they want on the date they want rather than purchasing a deal to find that the dates they want are unavailable.
