Today (September 17), Netflix released a series of new first look images from their upcoming original series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Bringing the character of Sabrina the Teenage Witch back to the small screen, as she's never been seen before (other than on the pages of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comic book series), the show looks to be a dark and chaotic adventure not just for those involved, but everybody watching.

To celebrate its upcoming release, we're taking a look at the characters and performers we should expect to see when Chilling Adventures of Sabrina does make its debut...

An empowered young woman, half-human, half-witch, Sabrina is right at the start of her dark education as a sorceress. Trying to maintain a regular life as a sophomore at Baxter High, she's an intelligent and compassionate friend, but can prove to be TOO brave at times, to the point of recklessness. What she doesn't know just yet, is that she's the sole person standing between the world, and the dark forces that threaten to destroy it. She's pictured here alongside Lachlan Watson as Susie Putnam, Jaz Sinclair as Rosalind Walker, and Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle.

Hilda is one of Sabrina's two witch aunts. More nurturing than her sister, she's somebody with a motherly nature and warm sense of humour. Hilda is described as "adept at brewing spite jars against her family's enemies", but also great "at concocting love potions for the students at Baxter High." Will her shady dealings land her in trouble?

Zelda is Sabrina's second witch aunt, and the sterner of the two women. Proud and devout, Zelda believes the highest privilege is serving as a member of the Church of Night for the Dark Lord. She's the disciplinarian of the family, protective of her neice Sabrina, and the Cain to Hilda's Abel.

Harvey is Sabrina's boyfriend, described as "the prince charming of this dark fairy tale". He's the son of a coal miner and a real dreamer, who's completely unaware of the dark forces doing their all to keep him and his love apart.

Father Blackwood serves as the High Priest of the Church of Night, as well as the Dean of the Academy of the Unseen Arts. He's ruthless in his ambition, and hides a dark agenda from all that will put him in direct conflict with our titular hero, and other members of the coven.

Ms. Wardwell is Sabrina's favourite teacher and mentor at Baxter High, but when shes possessed by the Devil's Handmaiden, she turns into a cunning manipulator, and the one person who may just be able to lure Sabrina down the treacherous road of the Path of Night.

Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman

Sabrina's family extends with Ambrose, who is her warlock cousin from England. Forbidden from leaving the funeral home where he lives with the Spellman women, he has been placed under house arrest by the Witches Council. He's described as "witty, puckish, and pansexual", and is always up for a dose of mischief alongside his cousin Sabrina.

Rosalind is the outspoken and brash daughter of Greendale's minister, and also serves as Sabrina's best friend at Baxter High. Susie meanwhile is another close friend of Sabrina's, and a founding member of the newly-opened WICCA club at the school. Despite being bullied, Susie's described as "brave and optimistic", and lives on the farm at the outskirts of town. At home, Susie faces a terrifying supernatural threat...

Gavin Leatherwood as Nicholas Scratch

Studying at the Academy of Unseen Arts, Nicholas is a handsome young warlock, and a new friend of Sabrina's. Drawn to the titular character, he quickly notices sparks with her... Could her relationship with Harvey be under threat here?

Adeline Rudolph, Tati Gabrielle and Abigail Cowen as The Weird Sisters

Agatha (Rudolph), Prudence (Gabrielle) and Dorcas (Cowen) are The Weird Sisters; a trio of powerful teenage witches who look down their noses at Sabrina for being half-mortal, and also study at the Academy of Unseen Arts. We imagine they'll be causing Sabrina a lot of distress throughout the series.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina debuts on Netflix on October 26, 2018.
