Tom Conti Angered By Buckingham Palace 'west Wing' Show....
British actor Tom Conti is outraged after a TV network commissioned a show about life at Buckingham Palace in the same style as hit U.S. drama The West Wing.The Shirley Valentine star spent several years planning a similar programme only to have his pitch rejected by Itv.And Conti is angry that the channel have now commissioned new series The Palace - a fictional drama about the Royal family - which he claims is in the same format as his original idea.A source tells British newspaper The Daily Telegraph, "Tom couldn't believe it. We all think it's outrageous. I can't think this kind of thing would ever happen in America".
