Kristin Cavallari is back!

What should we expect from your new reality series Very Cavallari?

A lot of laughs, tonnes of drama, and you get to see the process of me opening up my first store. It’s a look at every area of my life: me as a wife, a friend, and a boss. You get to see every side of me.

As a reality TV veteran, how have you found the world of reality TV and documenting your life for television?

I’ve truly enjoyed all three of my experiences! It’s actually not as invasive as most people probably think.

We see you launch your store in the show; can you tell us a little bit about the work process you went through to do that?

You see the entire process: the buildout, moving out of a room in my house – where I launched Uncommon James – into the office/store, hiring a staff, and just getting everything ready. You see the growing pains that are all part of the process.

Audiences will meet your core team in the show; what can you tell us about them?

They have big personalities, hence why I knew they would be great for TV! And any time there’s a group of girls, there’s sure to be drama. It’s hard to have a good show without it [drama], but I feel we also have a lot of comedy in Very Cavallari as well.

Does there ever come a point where you get used to the cameras following you round?

We only filmed three to four days a week so it’s never 24/7. I don’t think you ever completely forget they’re there, but I have no problem being myself on camera.

What would you say is the best thing about being a part of a reality show?

The audience can really connect with you, since they feel like they know you.

And how about some of the most challenging things?

Same thing – people thinking they really know you. Luckily for me, this is the first show I can really get behind and say this is 100% me.

You’re an incredibly successful businesswoman, so what advice do you have for women out there aspiring to stomp their own path?

Thanks! Just go for it; go after your dream and don’t let a couple “no’s” get in your way.

How do you like to spend your free time winding down? If you get any!

If indeed you get any! Great question! I don’t feel like I get any lately but I do love a good massage. And a glass of wine always seems to do the trick.

What are some of your favourite reality shows to watch?

I honestly haven’t been watching any TV really. I used to be a Real Housewives junkie but I haven’t been able to watch it as much.

Finally, what should we expect from you in the coming weeks and months away from the show?

I’m constantly releasing new jewellery on Uncommon James and I just released a capsule collection with a baby brand, Sapling Child, that I’m excited about. I’m about to start working on another cook book as well!

Very Cavallari continues Sundays at 8pm on E!. Stream and download on hayu, reality on demand.
