Following on from the news that a group of twentysomething Spring Breakers would be joining their grandparents along with Geordie Shore star Gary Beadle on a new MTV show comes the reveal of exactly who those cast members will be, when Spring Break with Grandad airs next month on MTV. Victoria and Joyce
Victoria is just 20-years-old, hailing from Essex and is going on a trip to Cancun after recently being left by her boyfriend who decided he wanted to go and work in Cyprus. Victoria sees Cancun as the perfect revenge and escape from the break-up, and in the first episode of the new series she makes even Gaz Beadle proud with her partying and pulling skills and stamina. Outspoken grandma Joyce is joining Victoria at spring break, seeing herself as old-fashioned in many ways but described by her granddaughter as “cool, outspoken and outgoing”.
Aaron and Christine
Aaron, 25-years-old from Manchester is always ready for fun and flings, and admits he’s now lost count of how many females he’s had alongside him in bed. MTV promises that he’ll get right down to business and he spends the first night with a fellow spring breaker, but he isn’t so keen to stick around when he realises what’s happened the day after the night before. Party grandma Christine will be joining Aaron, who’s been known to imitate Biggie Smalls during a wild night out…
Ashleigh and Mary
Ashleigh is the youngest of the spring breakers taking part in the series, at just 19 and hailing from Connecticut in America. A competitive beauty queen, mother and “not a girl to mess with”, she thinks most girls have a problem with her because “they’re just jealous”. Single for almost a year, she’s ready to make up for lost time, which MTV promises she’ll do very quickly. Grandmother Mary joins Ashleigh, described as “always ready to make inappropriate conversation”, and always interested in finding out about Ashleigh’s “extracurricular activities”.
Brandon and Beverley
24-year-old Brandon is described as “the confidence king”, hailing from Massachusetts in America and finding no shame in admitting he likes to play the field. Ever since his ex-girlfriend cheated on him, he decided to transform himself and become the one that did the heart breaking instead. Joined by his Queen Bee grandma Beverley, who’s ready to relive her childhood in Cancun, will be able to take on the spring break nightlife with his elder relative by his side?
Paige and Bob
Paige is a 23-year-old club hostess from Norwich, England, and is ready to show herself off to the world. Loving being the centre of attention, she says she’s a “female player”, and her accompanying grandparent Bob agrees, saying: “the more attention she gets, the better.” Bob is 69-years-old, and says he’ll be warding off any “wronguns” that Paige may be getting too close to in Cancun. Despite that, he’s looking to have a good time in Mexico.
James and Andy
Hailing from Somerset, James is a man who likes to hit the gym and pump iron during the day. Describing himself as a “top shagger”, James initially looks to have his eyes set on Victoria after giving both her and her grandma Joyce a steamy and flirtatious massage. Bringing his former stripper grandad Andy to spring break, it’s difficult to know who’s going to have a better time in Cancun!
