The 'Naked Attraction' presenter is set to front the reboot of the popular 90s lifestyle show for Channel 4, where she will be joined by interiors king and 'Changing Rooms' legend Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and designers Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead.

She said: "What an honour to be joining the 'Changing Rooms' team, one of my favourite shows from when I first started in TV.

"This series is an absolute classic and I can't wait to see the designs the legendary Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and the brilliant Jordan and Russell of 2LG come up with for our homeowners.

“Let’s get that house swapping started.”

Stacey Solomon and Emma Willis were also in the running for the hosting gig after Davina McCall was forced to quit the job due to other work commitments.

An insider told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: “Anna has signed on the dotted line and is the new host of 'Changing Rooms'.

“She was in the final stages alongside Stacey and Emma and ultimately, Anna’s diary won out and she could make all the filming dates.

“As a seasoned presenter with a great sense of humour, Anna appears to be the perfect choice for 'Changing Rooms'.

“She’s been given a free reign to make the role her own, so fans of the show can expect a lot of laughs when the reboot finally gets to air.”

Laurence previously admitted he believes the show will help to reboot the economy.

He said: "We went into lockdown obsessed with our beige, cookie cutter rooms that were going to look great in an estate agent window. We came out of it thinking, 'I don’t want to see another beige room for as long as I can live'. If you put yourself up a nice wallpaper with plenty of swirling birds and monkeys, palm trees, and tropical flowers, you are in the middle of a storybook."
