Netflix are really ramping up their promo for upcoming original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, based on the comic book series of the same name, having released an exciting new trailer for the show this week ahead of the premiere later this month. You can check out the teaser below:
With a tone reminiscent of classic horror flicks such as Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation will see Sabrina do her best to control her half-witch, half-mortal dual nature, whilst going up against some of the most powerful and evil forces that threaten not only her, but her family and the entire world.
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Riverdale showrunner and chief creative officer of Archie Comics, penned the script for the series, and also serves as an executive producer alongside his Riverdale collaborators Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Lee Toland Krieger and Archie Comics CEO Jon Goldwater.
Kiernan Shipka takes on the titular role of Sabrina Spellman, and stars alongside the likes of Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Lachlan Watson and Bronson Pinchot.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina officially premieres on Netflix on October 26, 2018.
