Fear The Walking Dead has once again been renewed by AMC for a third season consisting of 16 new episodes - a slight increase from the current second season's 15 episodes that gives the series the same amount of time per season as the show that spawned it - The Walking Dead.

Set in Los Angeles at the immediate start of the zombie apocalypse, the show exists in the same world as Rick Grimes and his group, but remains separate from the original.

In it we see Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her family attempting to come to terms with exactly what's happening in the world and, after the first season finale, she and her group took to the ocean in a yacht to try and escape the chaos.

Of course, viewers are now learning that there may be just as many dangers at sea as there are on land, with zombies wading through the ocean, floating to the top and still hungry for any flesh they can sink their teeth into.

There's also peril from fellow humans looking to survive and take what they need by any means possible.

Fear The Walking Dead continues Sundays on AMC in the US and Mondays on AMC UK in the UK.
