The 2018 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' winner was being eyed up for a spin on the ballroom floor, but he decided against it and insisted he has two left feet.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "The BBC bosses sent over a dancer to put me through my paces for a day, but it's not for me ... no chance.

"It's a great show but I can't dance to save my life, can I, Sandra?"

The 72-year-old former footballer and his wife don't think he's got what it takes, and the ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager explained he was so "hopeless" he wouldn't even go on the programme if he had dance lessons from jungle co-stars Fleur East and Emily Atack.

He added: "Even if Fleur and Emily gave me some lessons, I'd still be hopeless ... so that's it for me now with reality shows, thank you."

Harry admitted he did consider going on 'Strictly' before signing up for 'I'm A Celebrity', but his son Jamie - whose ex-wife Louise was runner-up in 2016 - didn't think it was a good idea.

He said: "I told Jamie I was thinking of doing 'Strictly' and I don't think he was pleased about it. And so I was offered the jungle at the same time and chose to do that."

It turned out to be the right call as Harry was named King of the Jungle, although retired footballer Jamie previously admitted he wasn't sure his dad would make it to the end of the competition.

He previously explained: "There have been moments where I've thought, 'You're on the edge'. People say, 'Your dad is so lovely. He's so funny'.

"But he can lose it sometimes. In a dressing room I've seen him lose it and start throwing things. I was a bit worried that after a week or two he might go, 'I don't know if I need this'. But he's stuck it out."
