The 31-year-old professional footballer has sparked rumours he's rekindled his relationship with his on/off girlfriend Elizabeth-jayne Tierney, whom he split from last year just months after getting engaged, after they were spotted spending Valentine's Day (14.02.18) together.

But he has admitted he'd be willing to join the line-up of a dating show later on down the line if him and Elizabeth don't work out - although he wouldn't want to mix with civilians.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I would definitely do a celebrity version of 'Love Island', I think they should. Why wouldn't they? I think it's a massive TV show, it's a great show so why not? I don't think they should mix the two, you've either got to go all celebrity or keep it as it is because it's a brilliant show.

"I've dated celebrities in the past because they're all normal people. There are some lovely people in the industry. The celebrities - some of them are a bit car crash - but they are nice."

The hunk - who has three children; Archie, seven, Harry, six, and George, four, with his ex-wife Danielle Lloyd - has even been approached for 'Celebs Go Dating' but he knows that his relationship with Elizabeth would be over for good if he ever agreed to go on there.

He explained: "There are a few shows coming up.

"'Celebs Go Dating' have been in touch if I stay single. That would be 100 per cent the final nail in the coffin for Elizabeth, I don't know when the next show is because I think the new one has only just come out so I think it's one for a couple of months down the line."
