The 72-year-old journalist revealed she had her horoscope read to her 25 years ago, and the astrologer told her she can see the future.

Speaking on the Halloween-themed episode of 'Loose Women' on Thursday (31.10.19), Janet said: "Yeah when I had my horoscope read about 25 years ago the person told me that I was psychic.

"Then when I told my mother that the astrologer thought I was psychic, she said, 'Well you are half-Welsh.' "

Janet then went on to tell the panel about her mother's fortune-telling abilities.

She added: "My mother used to read the tea leaves. We'd go and have a cup of tea on a Sunday and she'd go 'Give me your palm.' "

However, she confessed she is not a believer of her own supernatural traits, and revealed she is particularly sceptical about astrology.

She said: "With horoscopes, how can everybody in the world be divided into 12 signs."

However, fellow 'Loose Women' regular Brenda Edwards admitted she believes in the spooky activity after she visited a psychic.

The 45-year-old singer revealed the clairvoyant told her she was unwell before she was diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as mentioning her son Jamal who founded the online music platform SBTV.

Brenda said: "It happens to me all the time, people think I'm crazy. She also told me I have a son who helps people and is very well-known.

"She didn't know who I was."

Meanwhile, Janet recently opened up during a panel discussion on the show about whether or not eating meat could be criminalised in the future.

She said earlier this week: "I eat roadkill. If see a deer by the side of the road that's been hit by a lorry or a car [I pick it up], what else are you going to do? We used to eat it, there's nothing wrong with it.

"You can go on YouTube and watch a video on how to slaughter it. Venison is a free range meat that lives on grains and it is very healthy, better than most chickens.

"I eat game, I eat fish, we had a fish last week that we caught, put a line in the river, caught a sea bass nothing wrong with that."
