The former 'Coronation Street' actress has likened herself to the 80s and 90s TV show character - a doll who was thrown in a reject bin, along with several others, because he wasn't stuffed properly - as she has been "losing muscle definition" following her January op.

She said: "I'm back at work on 'Morning Live', but it's been a slow recovery.

"The operation itself was a success, but I've suffered a few infections since and it's set me back.

"I'm hoping to speak to a physio who specialises in post-hernia operations as I really want to get back to exercising again.

"I feel like my body has changed.

"I can only control so much with my diet and I'm losing my muscle definition.

"There was a show called 'Raggy Dolls' and I feel like the character Sad Sack, who wasn't properly stuffed and was all lumpy."

The 44-year-old actress also hopes resuming exercise will help her to get a routine back in her life.

Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: "I exercise for my mental health as well as my physical health, so I'm hoping I can get some routine back in my life soon."

Just last week, Kym - who played Michelle Connor on the ITV soap - admitted she was still going through a "slow recovery" following her hernia operation.

She said: "I'm still going through a slow recovery from my hernia operation and I've had follow-up appointments.

"I've just got to do the sensible thing, listen to my body and not return to work too quickly and end up in a bad way."
