The 'Coronation Street' star, who had a breast enlargement from a B cup to a D cup 10 years ago, went along to the doctor to get herself checked out after her kids put pressure on her to do so, and fortunately "everything is fine".

She said: "I've been experiencing pain in my right breast and it's been getting worse, so the kids nagged me to go and get it checked out, saying I usually go to the doctor's for a broken fingernail.

"Having breast implants can make checking a bit trickier, so I like to go every couple of years.

"I had a mammogram and I'm pleased to say everything's fine."

A specialist has reassured Kym that her implants are "fine", and the cobbles favourite - who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap - says she "wouldn't want to have them out".

Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: "My implants are 10 years old now and some people say you should get them replaced after a decade, but my specialist said mine are fine.

"If I was to have them done again, I think I'd go for the same size and shape, which reassures me that I made the right choice 10 years ago.

"I wouldn't want to have them out."

The 42-year-old star became a grandmother in May when her daughter Emilie Cunliffe gave birth, and the 'Corrie' star admitted five months earlier she had kick-started her anti-ageing process ahead of becoming a granny, after saying she wanted to "delay the ageing process" without having to turn to Botox.

In a tweet to Renovatio Clinic - which aims to restore someone's body to its "natural beauty" via nonsurgical, laser and minimally-invasive procedures - Kym wrote: "amazing treatment today guys!! I'm excited about the results (sic)"
