The 'EastEnders' actress and her fiance Ben Bhanvra are expecting their first child together, and the 32-year-old soap star revealed the news in an adorable video on Mother's Day (14.03.21).

She shared a clip of herself opening a note to her mum that read: "There's a baby on the way."

In the video, Louisa showed off her baby bump, Ben read a 'Pregnancy For Men' book, and the couple's dog Riley also made an appearance, walking around their house with a neckerchief that read: "My parents are getting me a human."

Louisa added the caption: "Dear Mum,

If I am a fraction of the mother you are, I know I’ll be the best.

You have held my hand for 32 years, you have taught me right from wrong, corrected my spelling, and helped me see the light at the end of every single tunnel.

And now you will guide me to becoming a mummy. (Just try not to move yourself in or Ben might leave)

Happy Mother’s Day All, to those that are here, that are not with us in person but with us every moment and to those on a journey.

L xx (sic)"

Louisa and Ben were due to get married last year, but the pair postponed their nuptials due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

In January, the star confirmed the couple had booked their big day for July this year, but just weeks later revealed they postponed their wedding again, just days before the government announced plans to lift restrictions on June 21st.

She said: "We'd already agreed to move our wedding again to next year.

"So when the announcement came in, if anything we were like, 'Oh, that is really bad timing.'

"But I'm so pleased weddings can go ahead. I know it's affected so many companies, suppliers and venues.

"So fingers crossed it is as planned and they can all go ahead."

Louisa is currently playing out a hard-hitting storyline in 'EastEnders', in which her character Ruby Allen tragically lost her unborn baby recently.
