Following the arrival of six new boys at Casa Amor and six new girls at the main Love Island villa, drama is about to reach an all-time high in the ITV2 reality dating series.

Tonight’s (July 4th, 2022) episode opens with Ekin-Su getting to know new Islander George.

Speaking to her about her current coupling Davide, George asks: “Do you feel like you’ve found the right guy right now?”

Ekin-Su replies: “If I’m honest, I genuinely felt like there was something there with me and Davide. I knew it was mutual so I went there and I don’t regret it. It was great. We had a last date together and it went well.”

George then admits that Ekin-Su is at the top of his list when it comes to initial attraction, but is she now fully closed off and focusing on Davide?

She says in the Beach Hut after the conversation: “It’s not easy to be open again, you know. I’m still open to getting to know George however my heart and my mind is in my Italian dream man and I hope he’s ok.”

Meanwhile, single girl Danica is hoping to get to know Josh and, it seems the feeling is mutual.

When commenting about Danica sharing a bed with Deji the first night, Josh asks: “Are you staying in the same bed tonight?”

Danica replies: “Probably not. As in I will be in the same bed but I probably will switch it up a bit.”

Josh then asks: “Anyone you feel like asking or…?”

Smiling, Danica says: “I mean, yeah, I was probably planning on asking you.”

As the two get closer, Josh asks if Danica is waiting for a kiss. Admitting she would like one, he leans in to make a move, but will it be reciprocated?

Elsewhere at Casa Amor, Deji is putting his graft work to the test, pulling Indiyah for a chat to discuss the kiss they shared in the challenge earlier that day.

He asks: “So after today’s challenge, the ultimate question is- was it a tactical thing or was there anything behind that? Be brutally honest, I’m not here to waste time.”

Indiyah replies: “Obviously it was a challenge, you know, play to win. But it was kiss the Islander that you fancy the most. Fancy is a strong statement, but I think you’re a good looking guy so…”

Then asking if she would be open to “exploring that” further, with “respectful boundaries”, it’s clear that Deji wants to move forward in getting to know Indiyah.

She continues: “Not to say I’m not happy, but I’m willing to talk to you and get to know you.”

Whether or not his work will pay off, remains to be seen.

Back at the main villa, Dami goes up to the terrace with Summer, where she asks him if he "feels sneaky" up there.

She then asks Dami to read her mind. He says: “You fancy me. You feel like there is a bit of chemistry between us. You wanna kiss me. You wanna share a bed with me tonight. You still definitely want to kiss me.”

Summer then challenges Dami to a staring contest, after making comments about his strong eye contact. "If you lose, just shoot your shot," he says. The pair then kiss,

They’re not the only ones playing tonsil tennis, as Andrew is dared by some of the boys at the fire pit to kiss Coco.

In the Beach Hut, he says: “Right now I’m not going to be thinking about Tasha. I’m going to be thinking about myself for once. At the end of the day I wanna be happy so, I’m definitely going to speak to Coco, we’ll see what happens.”

Andrew then asks Coco to go up to the terrace. Whilst up there, he admits: “I did want to talk to you, as I know we had a chat this morning. You know you are my type and I definitely wanna get to know you more.”

Coco makes it obvious that the feeling is mutual, admitting she liked the kiss they shared in the earlier challenge and then asking if he wants another one.

Taking his chance, Andrew leans in and the two share a smooch.

It's not all good vibes however, as down by the fire pit, the Islanders share experiences of their first night.

After telling the group he kissed Summer, Luca says that Dami should stay in bed with her before trying to nudge Jacques into agreeing with him.

Dami doesn’t like this, saying: “Yeah, stop egging other people on man. What’s wrong with you? Just be real for once.”

Tensions escalate and, what once was a strong friendship seems to be at breaking point.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
