The Channel 4 show - which finds dates for singletons based on their opinion of each other's naked bodies with the picker and the prospective love matches all stripping off - will take things a step further when it returns to our screens later this month when it sees a pair on the lookout for an individual to be a part of their happy union.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a source said: "Channel 4 has never been afraid to push the boundaries.

"This series will feature a couple wondering if a third individual would be good for their relationship or mess it up. There's going to be more bits on show than ever with three people in the mix."

The dating show's presenter, Anna Richardson, previously shared her thoughts on wanting to inspire an "actual naked wedding".

She said: "I'm hoping there may be a naked engagement in the not-too-distant future, which would be marvellous.

"And I want there to be an actual naked wedding, where I can turn up to in just a giant hat and a bikini."

The 47-year-old host - who is in a relationship with presenter Sue Perkins after previously being with Charles Martin for 18 years - admitted she would have never gone on a show like 'Naked Attraction' when she was young and single.

She revealed: "I think my generation struggles with the idea of people wanting to take off their clothes. I personally wouldn't want to go on the show because when I was young and single, it was the late 80s.

"You had to meet someone the old-fashioned way - at the pub or on your course at university. So, for me, it doesn't feel relevant. Back in the day it would have been inconceivable for me to take off my clothes on TV."
