The former 'Take Me Out' host - who already has Felicity, five, and seven-year-old twins Leo and Penelope with Christine McGuinness - underwent the procedure almost two years ago to prevent another pregnancy, but she has started to crave Fab ice lollies again.

Sharing a photo of a Fab and a cup of tea on Instagram, he joked: "Just asked the good lady what she wanted for her supper?

"I’m praying that vasectomy has held up! #weirdcraving #icelollyandacupoftea #wtf #supper #staysafe (sic)"

Christine admitted she was "scared" after she craved the sugary treat when she was expecting her kids.

She added: "Oh no! I craved Fabs through both pregnancies... I'm scared now... I told you to get it checked! (sic)"

Paddy has been open about the vasectomy process - a surgical procedure for male sterilisation or permanent contraception, to prevent pregnancy - and at the time told his Instagram followers that the operation was "a doddle".

He said: "I've gotta tell you, gentleman if you're thinking of having a vasectomy and you're a bit reluctant as I was, the initial anaesthetic, what they give you in the old pippins ... I'm not going to lie, that's tender, oh that's tender.

"That made my eyes water, but after that, honestly, it's a doddle. I'm currently resting up at home with a towel full of ice on the nickedy nackedy noos. Just icing them up, but I'll keep you up to speed."

Shortly after the procedure, Paddy also revealed he had been told to masturbate 50 times by his doctor over the first couple of months to make sure he was sperm free.

He explained at the time: "I had the vasectomy. Any gentlemen who are thinking about it, the thing about a vasectomy - what they don't tell you - is when you have it done, the doctor says you've got to ... we're on daytime TV!

"You've got to 'be by yourself' 50 times. So, lads, you have a license to it! It's the doctors orders - you've got a couple of months to do it - so you don't have to sneak off to do it anymore!"
