Paula Lane doesn't have plans to quit Corrie, as she feels "satisfied" on the soap.

The 27-year-old actress joined the ITV soap in 2010 as Kylie Platt, but she insists she has no plans to ditch the show any time soon for something else because she's loving the storylines she's getting.

She said: "I couldn't have wished for better and I'm still so satisfied there on the street. People ask me if I want to do other things but I can see myself being there [on 'Coronation Street'] for another couple of years.

"If the storylines run as they are, I'm getting my acting fix and I'm really content there."

The brunette beauty turned up on the cobbles as the mouthy sister of Becky McDonald (Katherine Kelly) and she believes viewers used to hate her, but they've learnt to love her now.

Speaking to Soap Squawk, she explained: "I think the audience love to hate her and hate to love her. I get stopped in the street all the time and people say, 'Oh I want to shake you sometimes but then I feel sorry for her'.

"She is vulnerable and lacks confidence, which is whey the aggression comes out. It's all massive front."
