The 32-year-old actress - who is the older sister of supermodel Cara Delevingne - is part of the cast for the next season of the drama which returns to Sky Atlantic and NOW TV on May 23.

And Poppy admits it was a wonderful experience filming the programme - which is set in the Côte d'Azur in France - because she was drawn to the beautiful costumes and spectacular settings.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column, she said: "Glamour is very important to the appeal of the show - the beautifully done hair, make-up and costumes capture the glamour that people associate with 'Riviera'.

"It's very appealing to see that world of fast cars, champagne and yachts on screen. This job is full of 'pinch me' moments. It doesn't get much better than this."

The beautiful blonde plays Daphne Eltham alongside Julia Stiles - who is back for another season as Georgina Clios.

Poppy's character is a mega stylish fashionista and her mother Lady Cassandra Eltham, is portrayed by Juliet Stevenson.

The first season followed the story of art dealer Georgina (Stiles) whose idyllic life falls to pieces when her wealthy husband is mysteriously killed on an explosion on a yacht.

She then embarks on a dangerous journey to discover what really happened to her late spouse when he was on the boat.

The first season of 'Riviera' was Sky's most successful original commission to date and raked in a total audience of 2.3 million viewers per episode, and over 20 million downloads and views.
