The TV hosts will front the live charity appeal show on BBC One on November 16th, and comedian Rob admits it is a "huge honour" to have been asked to join the presenting team for the spectacle.

He said: "I am so excited to be presenting 'BBC Children in Need' this year.

"It's a British institution and a wonderful charity, so to be asked to help out is a huge honour. My parents are gonna be bursting with pride. I also get to meet Pudsey! I can't wait!"

As always, 'Children in Need' will feature an all-star line-up as they work together to try to raise money for disadvantaged kids and youngsters across the UK.

Graham Norton has co-hosted the show since 2016, and he is excited about Rob joining the team.

He said: "I love presenting the live show of 'BBC Children in Need' and I look forward to welcoming Rob Beckett to the team, in what will be a night full of celebrating some of most brave and inspirational children."

This news comes just days after 'The One Show' confirmed its Rickshaw Challenge will return this year with presenter Matt Baker joining forces with a team of six youngsters, all supported by BBC Children in Need-funded projects, to take on a gruelling 423-mile route from Calais to Salford over eight days.

He said: "This is the eighth year that we'll be heading out on the roads with the Rickshaw Challenge and I can't wait to get back in the saddle alongside six truly inspirational young people.

"Every year the support that we get never ceases to amaze me, it's fantastic to see how people from all across the UK get behind the challenge and I'm looking forward to seeing all those friendly faces willing us on again this year, and helping us to raise so much money for a charity which is incredibly close to my heart."

The Tour de Rickshaw will begin in France on November 9 and conclude on November 16 in Salford during 'BBC Children in Need'.
