The former 'EastEnders' actress and the professional dancer - who was previously a 'Strictly Come Dancing' star for four years - have been in talks with ITV bosses about taking part in this year's show.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "'Strictly' would like to think that no one leaves the show and goes on to bigger things, but AJ will be very popular in the jungle and it'll be a good platform for him.

"His deal is all but done and ITV are delighted they've been able to prise him away from their rivals.

"Meanwhile, it's early days with Tamzin but she's someone producers have discussed going to Oz in the autumn -- and she's told pals she is 100 per cent not taking part in 'Strictly'."

Although bosses at BBC show 'Strictly' were reportedly keen to sign Tamzin up this year, the insider said: "There's some way to go in negotiations but she's more likely to be eating a kangaroo testicle than wearing sequins this year.

"Losing someone who has made their name on your show is one thing, but when your celebrity targets start defecting too it's a headache."

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that 'I'm A Celebrity' stars may have to quarantine for two weeks before heading into the jungle.

ITV bosses are keen to ensure the show takes place later this year, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, and that could mean enforcing a fortnight of lockdown for campmates, which would result in stars spending a total of five weeks away from their families.

A source said: "'I'm A Celeb' is one of the toughest reality shows out there and adding a two-week quarantine period is only going to make it harder.

"The welfare of the campmates is the biggest concern, so having them possibly put in quarantine for a fortnight lessens the risk of anyone falling ill.

"They understand that for some people, the thought of maybe having to spend more than a month away from their families might be off-putting."

'Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness' star Carole Baskin and former Aston Villa footballer Paul Merson are among the celebrities linked to the new series of the show.

Other names talked about as potential campmates this year are singer Jessie J and TV presenter Matt Baker.
