With many fans of The Walking Dead left angered and annoyed following the controversial cliffhanger ending of season 6, one particular outraged member of the fanbase has now demanded answers through a petition.

Posted to Change.org for submission to network AMC, the petition reads: "I would like AMC to show us who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. We want this either in an interim episode that borders Season 6 and 7, or a short R-Rated webisode that shows us the death in all it's bloody glory. Either of these are fine as long as it's released before May 30th."

As of today (April 6), the petition has reached a total of 738 signatures, with 262 more needed to reach its initial target of 1,000 supporters.

Despite the support it's unlikely showrunner Scott M. Gimple and his team on the series are going to bow to pressure from fans and give up details they obviously want to keep secret because of a small petition.

The Walking Dead returns for its seventh season in October on AMC in the US and FOX in the UK.
