The 20-year-old actress was partnered with professional dancer Neil, 41, - who has three-month-old Havana with fiancee Chyna Mills - in the Chrstimas special of the BBC Latin and ballroom competition and even though they came second to 'EastEnders' actor Jamie Borthwick and Nancy Xu, admitted the whole situation was a "win-win" in the end.

She told The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "I knew I couldn’t dance, but I was keen to give it a whirl, so when I got offered to do the 'Strictly' special, I couldn’t say no.

"Being partnered with Neil was the cherry on top – and now I babysit for him with his little daughter, Havana, which is a win-win."

The former CBBC star - who now plays Stacey Neville in the BBC school-based drama 'Waterloo Road' alongside the likes of Angela Griffin, Adam Thomas and Kym Marsh - added that taking part in the festive edition of the Saturday night favourite was the "most fun" she had ever had and loved having the "support" of everyone around her.

She said: "It was the best, most fun and supportive environment I’ve been in, and we’ve all come away from it like family."

Prior to taking part in the dance show, Tillie admitted she had agreed to take part to prove to herself that she could do anything as long as she did it with "confidence" and positivity.

She said: "I also wanted to do it to prove to myself and others that you can do anything you put your mind to with confidence, a great helper and a lot of positive energy."
