The 'Coronation Street' actress has revealed Scarlett, 11 - who she shares with her ex and former co-star Ryan - has tried out for something based in the US, and admitted her daughter's American accent was "so good".

She said: "I would be happy for her to do whatever she wants. She's just auditioned for a Disney thing that would be filming in LA.

"She had a lot of script to learn and I said, 'This is the reality, Scarlett. If you want to do this, you have to put the time and effort in.' Her American accent was ridiculous though, it was so good."

Scarlett could also turn her attention to singing, as Tina - who plays Sarah Platt in the ITV soap - admitted the youngster is the "most incredible singer".

Tina added to TV Life magazine: "She's a really good mimic. And the most incredible singer.

"She's brilliant and she's getting better and better. I'm really excited for when she's older."

Tina previously revealed Scarlett was attending Drama MOB, a drama school and casting agency launched by the cobbles star and her best friend Esther Morgan in 2013.

The school was set up when Tina couldn't find anywhere suitable for Scarlett in the area.

Speaking last October, Tina said: "From the age of three she started singing so she started singing before she showed any interest in acting.

"She used to say 'I don't really fancy the acting but I like the singing' and she used to sing 'Castle On A Cloud' from Les Mis.

"A teacher sent me a video of her singing it and I thought 'Oh my gosh she's actually really quite good.'"
