Michelle (Kym Ryder) and Steve (Simon Gregson) are trying to get into the Christamas spirit but the question over Ryan's (Ben Thompson) parentage is weighing heavily on Michelle, who's still trying to deny it could be true. Steve encourages her to try talk about it and with some difficulty Michelle finally opens up and admits she knows Nick could be right and this is never going to go away, so she's going to go to speak to him today. But is she prepared to hear what he has to say? Rosie’s (Helen Flanagan) dreams of a romantic escape are shattered when John (Graeme Hawley) is reluctant to indulge in a luxurious champagne breakfast with her the next morning and scurries around trying to get ready, feeling guilty about Fiz (Jennie McAlpine). Back on the Street, Fiz is brimming with excitement at the prospect of her first Christmas with John but when Rosie informs him that she wants a proper relationship and that one stolen night isn’t enough for her, he's shocked. As Rosie tells him that she won’t share him with Fiz and if he doesn't tell her then she will, he's worried. Will John end his relationship with Fiz on Christmas Eve? If he doesn't how will he ensure his affair remains a secret?Meanwhile, no one believes David’s (Jack P Shepherd) assertion that Sarah (Tina O' Brien) set him up, and whilst he becomes more and more depressed, Sarah continues to work on Stephen (Todd Boyce), subtly dropping hints that she and Jason would love to move out of Weatherfield. Will Stephen take the bait?Elsewhere, Maria (Samia Smith) is still seething about Liam (Rob James-Collier) and Carla's (Alison King) kiss. When Liam confronts Carla about why she told the whole pub about it, Carla acts blasé claiming that the kiss meant nothing to her but by his reaction it was obviously a big deal to him. Carla's clearly jealous but will Liam let her come between him and Maria?
